Balayage, you ask?

I get asked a lot of questions about Balayage. What is it? How is it different from foils? Will it work with my hair color?

Balayage is a French word meaning to paint or sweep. It's a freehand technique because no foils are used to create the highlights. And the lightener is only painted on the surface of the hair.

Balayage gives a gradual, more natural looking effect. Not only does balayage create gorgeous multi-layered color, it also allows you to stretch out your salon visits a little longer.

Balayage works on light and dark hair. It is used to create different hair color effects like Ombré, Sombre, Bronde and Color Melts.

Balayage offers some beautiful and very current looks as seen on the catwalks and red carpet.

Balayage is quickly becoming one of the most requested salon services. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me at tlhairartist@charter.net
